2019 marks the 3rd Annual TenFoot Swim from Tenby to Saundersfoot via the stunny Pembrokeshire coastline.
The 5km TenFoot swim takes place on Saturday 13th July 2019.
Entry is strictly via the online booking system with no on the day booking, entries are limited so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
Registration on the day will take place at Tenby Harbour between the hours of 10.00am and 13.00pm.
All entrants need to be registered and on North Beach, Tenby by 14.00pm with the swim starting at 14.30pm.
Swimmers will enter the water from North Beach then swim to Monkstone Beach (half way point) where they will leave the water for a mandatory safety check and much needed feed station.
Swimmers will then re-enter the water proceeding through the “Gap” in Monkstone Point and then track the stunning Pembrokeshire Coastline to Swallow Tree, The Glen, and then finally finishing on Saundersfoot’s main Beach where a great party atmosphere awaits
(For safety reasons there is a 2-hour cut-off time for swimmers to reach the check point at Monkstone Beach).
The wearing of a wet suit and swim buoy are compulsory, and all swimmers MUST provide both to take part in the swim.
The organisers will provide a service to transfer personal belongings from Tenby to Saundersfoot, but entrants are required to make their own arrangements for the return journey, back to Tenby.
Entry is £50 per swimmer and participants will receive: Special Edition Tenfoot Swim Medal/Bottle Opener; A TenFoot Swim Technical Training T-shirt ; A Silicone swim cap (Given at Registration); and an Event Silicone Wristband.
On completion of the safety check, all swimmers will enter the water and swim through the ‘rocky’ gap at Monkstone Point. This will be marshalled by the organiser’s safety kayakers.
